Classic Backgammon

Classic Backgammon is a game for two players with quite simple gameplay. There are 15 pieces for each player. To get the pieces back on their playing field, gamers must move them around the table before taking them all out. Whoever gets rid of all his pieces first will win. This is an ancient game, and it is quite difficult to understand the rules. However, you can immerse yourself for hours in these exciting experiences as you gradually discover the unique gameplay.

Interesting origins of the game

This is one of the oldest games in the world. In Iran's Sistan-Baluchistan region, the ancient city of Burnt had a Backgammon chess set that archaeologists have found. indicating the release of this game at least 3000 BC.

Classic Backgammon chess set

  • Chess board: Consists of two rectangular pieces joined with 24 narrow triangles called Points. The black board is on the left, and the white board is on the right.
  • Chess pieces: Each player will have 15 circular chess pieces that play the main role in the round.
  • Dice: This cube has six sides, and if you get a doubled cube, then the number of moves in one roll of the dice will be more.

How to play

First, you need to understand the movement rules for each side. The white piece will move in a circle from top to bottom, and vice versa, the black piece will move from bottom to top. The initial positions of the entities will be random.

When it's your turn to play, click on the dice icon to receive your move. Then, choose an object and position it on the narrow triangles. The round ends when one of the two players removes all of their pieces from the game board.
