Do you remember that fun game where you tried to guess a word based on how it sounded? Well, wɜːdəl is a new version of that game with a twist. Instead of regular spelling, the words are shown using special symbols called the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Your goal is to figure out the actual English word represented by these symbols. It's a unique challenge for people who love words and languages.
In wɜːdəl, you'll see words written in the IPA. Your job is to decode these symbols and guess the real English word they represent. Each guess you make must be an English word with exactly five IPA letters. But keep in mind that the actual English word may have a different number of letters.
Once you submit a guess, the tiles will change color to give you important clues. These clues will help you figure out how close your guess is to the correct word. When a tile turns green in wɜːdəl, it means that the letter it represents is both correct and in the right position in the word. On the other hand, when a tile turns yellow, it indicates that the corresponding letter is indeed part of the word, but it's not in the correct position.
