Ringle is a game inspired by Wordle, and it comes with an intriguing theme. In this game, players are presented with a unique ringing method represented by numbers and bells. The goal is to predict the position of the bells based on the changing ringing pattern. It may sound complex, but let's dive in and uncover the meaning behind this game.
How To Play
The game board consists of tiles that represent the positions of the bells in a change-ringing method. Each row on the board contains all the bells once, and as you progress from one row to the next, the numbers representing the bells can either stay in the same position or move one place to the left or right. Importantly, no two rows are identical!
Your task in Ringle is to guess the current row within six attempts. Each guess must include all six numbers indicating the bell positions. When you're ready, hit the enter key to submit your guess. After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to provide feedback on how close your guess is to the actual row. This visual clue will help you refine your subsequent guesses.
Additionally, there's an extra board on the right side of the game interface. It serves as a space where you can jot down notes about the actual positions of the bells. To input a number on the right-hand board instead of the game board, simply hold the shift key while typing the number.
